Fabric Rosette Necklace

Posted by admin

 Hello--How are you all?
Happy Saturday!
We are getting ready for "Back To School".
Yesterday, my little daughter and her cute friend wanted to make something fun!
We tossed around several ideas.
We wanted to make something that was already available in my sewing room.
(We didn't want to do any shopping).
I gave the girls a few ideas,
We decided to make a fabric rosette necklace to spruce up their
plain "dress code" shirts for school!
We came up with rolled fabric flower necklaces that simply slips over the head.
I helped them along the way,
but for the most part they rolled their fabric flowers one by one until they had a collection of 8-10 flowers.
I assembled the necklaces with a hot glue gun.

We found our inspiration from a beautiful rosette necklace from Pattern Runway!
A detailed tutorial is included.

Supplies:
Fabric strips approx- 2-3" X 14"
(pink polka dot fabric by Riley Blake)
Use smaller length for smaller flowers.
gross grain ribbon, jewels or button, felt and glue gun.
You may remember a similar rosette necklace that I made from this post:

A fun project--we hope to make more!
We hope you have a great
FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!
